On Thursday, August 18, the Plymouth County Democratic League will host their annual “The Thanks Labor Day Picnic”, at the IBEW Local 223 Hall 111 Rhode Island Road, in Lakeville.

The League annually presents the Francis X. McKeown award to, “A recognized leader in the community and their labor cause”.

This years recipient is Archie Gormley, a Brockton Firefighter, and President of the Brockton Fire Fighters Local 144, of the International Association of Fire Fighters.

The PFFM Executive Board extends our sincere congratulations to Brother Gormley on being recognized for his Union Leadership and his dedication to duty within his community.
